会议开场与流程

  • agenda: topics of the meeting 议程：会议要讨论的议题

保密与纪律

  • confidential = keep it quiet 机密的，要保密
  • be quiet 保持安静
  • This information is confidential, so you are reminded that passing on this information to non-staff members is strictly prohibited. 该信息属机密，特此提醒：严禁向非员工传播。

经营状况表达

  • purchase 购买 / 采购
  • good sales figures 销售业绩不错
  • revenue 收入 / costs 成本 / expenses 开支 / profits 利润 / market share 市场份额
  • 走势：rose 上升了 / fell 下降了 / significantly 显著地 → Revenue has risen significantly. 收入显著增长。
  • There are layoffs. 有裁员。
  • cut the budget 削减预算
  • hurt employee morale 打击员工士气
  • cut down on … / reduce 削减、减少

  • We're kicking off a new project in the second quarter. 我们将在第二季度启动一个新项目。
